Bryan Chung MD, PhD, FRCSC, is a plastic surgeon based out of Toronto, Canada. He received his MD and PhD at the University of Calgary after which he completed his residency at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. He went on to a Hand Surgery fellowship at NYU in New York. He practices general plastic surgery with a focus on hand and wrist surgery. Bryan’s research interests are focused around research design as well as tool development and validation as well as reporting standards. He won’t shut up about Evidence-Based Practice. He even had a blog about it for 10 years for “fun”.
The biggest compliment he has ever received was from Dr. Don Lalonde, after Bryan had won the award for Best paper by a resident at IPRAS in his fourth year of residency, “You deserve this award because after four years, I finally understand what you’re talking about.”
He’s been trying to get better at helping people to understand what he’s talking about ever since.
