Asher Schusterman, MD
Bio
Dr. Schusterman was raised in Houston, Texas, and received his Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Business from Texas A&M University in 2009. He attended the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and received his medical degree in 2013. He then accepted a position as an Integrated Resident in the Department of Plastic Surgery at UPMC and elected to work as Post-Doctoral Associate in the Adipose Stem Cell Center for an additional year during his residency.

Research:
Dr. Schusterman has published several peer-reviewed manuscripts and has over 40 presentations at regional, national, and international conferences. His research focuses primarily on breast reconstruction, lymphedema surgery, and hand surgery.
