Electives and Away Rotations

Thank you for your interest in our program! The Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh is delighted to offer 4-week away rotations and electives.

The University of Pittsburgh 4-week away rotations and electives are built to be an all-inclusive experience with strong emphasis on plastic surgery education. The program will allow you to rotate at the main UPMC hospitals (Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Magee, Mercy, Montefiore, Presbyterian) and learn from the UPMC faculty and leadership. Rotators will be able to attend didactic sessions, instructional courses and journal clubs. Students will have the opportunity of meeting all faculty, residents, fellows and staff. Rotators will also have the opportunity of giving short case presentation at the end of the rotation.
