Pitt Plastic Surgery shines at the Annual Robert H. Ivy Society Plastic Surgery Meeting on March 23, 2024!

Our Pitt Plastic Surgery team presented >20 research projects and served on three panels at the 70th Annual Robert H. Ivy Society Meeting in Pittsburgh, PA, March 22-24, 2024!  In the panel “Shaping the Future of Plastic Surgery,” Dr. Liz Moroni discussed her experience as a resident, focusing on her completion of the core competency training program in five years.  Drs. Jeff Gusenoff and Kacey Marra participated in the panel “Innovation in Plastic Surgery,” each discussing their experiences with their start-up companies, PopSole and Swan NeuroTech, respectively.  Drs. Isaac James and David Turer participated in the panel "Aesthetic Surgery". Dr. Chandan Sen presented the keynote lecture, "Wound Healing and Regenerative Medicine." Three of our researchers won awards in the basic science and clinical research categories:
