Arash Samadi, MD

Originally from Iran, Dr. Samadi moved to Canada for his higher education and earned his Honors Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience and physiology from the University of Toronto. He then moved to the United States to receive his Medical Degree with Honors in Research from Weill Cornell Medicine. During his time at Cornell, he took a dedicated research year to explore various fields of translational research in plastic surgery including tissue engineering and wound healing. Outside of academia, he likes to ski, hike and listen to podcasts and e-books. Dr. Samadi began his training as an integrated resident with the Department of Plastic Surgery at UPMC in 2020.
