Dr. Ash Rogers is a highly skilled and compassionate plastic surgeon with a special interest in pediatric plastic surgery, currently serving as our Craniofacial/Cleft fellow at UPMC Children's Hospital. A proud Buffalo, New York native, Dr. Rogers is the first person in her family to graduate from college, earning her undergraduate degree from the University at Buffalo before going on to complete her medical education at the Medical College of Virginia (MCV).
Dr. Rogers completed her residency in Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University. There she was recognized for her outstanding contributions to both patient care and medical education, receiving the prestigious Resident Teaching Award ("String of Pearls") and multiple SPIRIT Awards from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.
During her time at Georgetown, Dr. Rogers developed a strong interest in pediatric plastic surgery, an area where she has honed specialized skills to deliver exceptional care to young patients. She has contributed significantly to the field of plastic surgery through her publications, including writing chapters in notable medical texts and presenting her research at national medical conferences. Her academic achievements also include being inducted into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society.
Dr. Rogers has also earned recognition for her work in medical education. As a recipient of the Dr. Lee Sutton Award for Outstanding Achievement in Pediatrics during medical school, as well as the A.D. Williams Award and Scholarship, she is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals. She takes great pride in teaching residents, students, and patients, offering both instruction and empathy to those under her care.
