Brodie Parent MD, MS is a Reconstructive Plastic and General Surgeon, who is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is an Assistant Professor in the department of plastic surgery and is an adjunct professor in the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health (Department of Health Policy and Management). He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Washington, followed by a plastic surgery fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Parent’s clinical interests include facial reconstruction after trauma or cancer, abdominal wall reconstruction, breast cancer reconstruction, gender affirming surgery, limb salvage, and peripheral nerve surgery.
Dr. Parent’s research interests include population health and diabetic limb salvage. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.
