Hilary Liu, BS

Hilary Liu is a rising third-year medical student and clinical research fellow with the Department of Plastic Surgery. During the 2024-2025 academic year, she is doing burns, microsurgery, and surgical education research as a part of the Clinical Scientist Training Program.

Originally from the Philadelphia area, Hilary attended the University of Pittsburgh as a part of the Guaranteed Admit Program in Medicine. As an undergraduate student, she majored in Neuroscience and History & Philosophy of Science, with minors in Chemistry and Studio Art. She then matriculated at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine (UPSOM), where she served as a coordinator for the Plastic Surgery Interest Group and founded Pitt Med Art Club. In her free time, Hilary enjoys drawing/painting, hiking, baking, and exploring new matcha spots.
