Dr. David earned his Bachelor of Science degree with University Honors from the University of Michigan before returning home to New Jersey, where he received his Medical Degree with a Distinction in Research from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. During this time, he co-founded a technology-based platform to facilitate disease management in the diabetic population. He also served as a research fellow with the Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery at NYU Langone, where he pursued basic science and clinical interests in a wide range of topics, including diabetic wound healing and composite tissue allotransplantation. Dr. David began his training as an integrated resident with the Department of Plastic Surgery at UPMC in 2019. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, running, and swimming, and has competed in several Ironman Triathlons.
Dr. David has been primary or contributing author on nearly 20 published scientific manuscripts and book chapters and over 40 abstracts for presentation at regional and national meetings.
