Lindsay Schuster, DMD, MS, is an orthodontist at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. She is certified in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Schuster’s proudest accomplishment is founding a fellowship training program in Cleft-Craniofacial Orthodontics and takes pride in the accomplishments of the many graduates of this program. Dr. Schuster earned her dental degree from the University of Connecticut and then completed a master’s degree and residency in orthodontics at the University of Minnesota. After several years in orthodontic private practice, she went on to fellowship training in Cleft-Craniofacial Orthodontics at New York University School of Medicine, Department of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Schuster’s clinical interests include the full spectrum of orthodontic care, from family/routine orthodontic care to specialized cleft-craniofacial care. She is also an expert in ear molding for infants born with cartilage differences affecting the shape and function of their ears. She is highly published and has had many invited national and international talks.In her free time, Dr. Schuster enjoys international travel, hiking, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.
