Lynn M. Frydrych, MD

Dr Frydrych completed her Undergraduate (BS) degree at William Woods University in American Sign Language Interpreting. She subsequently completed her medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. During medical school, she was selected as a Howard Hugh Medical Institute (HHMI) – NIH Research Scholar and took time off from her medical training to complete this prestigious research fellowship at the NIH. Upon completion of her medical school training, she started residency in General Surgery and additionally completed a 2-year T32 research fellowship in immune cell dysfunction in sepsis and obesity at the University of Michigan. During her general surgery residency training, she developed a passion for plastic surgery. She subsequently went on to transfer residency programs and finished her residency training in Plastic Surgery at the University of California – Los Angeles.
